Born in Australia, Burns has won various awards for his landscape photography. This passion of his begun as a child and only grew bigger as he grew up and eventually bought his first camera kit. Some of his awards include, International Photography Award and Australian Professional Photography Awards. In the collection of photos below labelled "Seascape" he aims to capture the calmness and sense of freedom the ocean provides.

In this shot we see how the angle it's taken at almost elongates the image. Moreover Burns uses the opportunity of the reflection in the water to create an added effect. He also uses the branches to give him added guidance in which he directs his vanishing point. Overall, the colours and the composition of this image allow it to have a sense of calmness to it.
A specific reason I chose this image was not just down to its excellent composition but also the attention to detail in the waves crashing against the rocks. In return, I will also aim to capture a similar shot as it really seizes this rare moment in a still image, almost a contrast- a chaotic crashing moment in comparison to the calm scenario behind it. Burns therefore succeeds in his aim of trying to portray the calmness of the sea.
One reason I chose this image is due to it's simplicity. Instead of capturing a scene in which too much is happening all at once, Burns here makes his main aim to instead capture its vibe and created atmosphere. Instead of opting for warmer colours as he did in the previous images, Burns in this one decides to set a grey and blueish undertone which fits the downcast mood created by this scene perfectly.

Through his photography Berdan mainly aims to capture the prettiness of nature and what it has to offer and offers his talents of outdoor photography in his website. Berndan also mainly focuses his photography in Canada and its wonders.
Just as Burns, a repeated technique used by landscape photographers which is also used here by Berdan, is using the reflection of the water in order to introduce more colour into the picture, yet allowing nature to do so, creating an effect. In addition Berdan also uses mountains in his images and trees laying next to the water to perhaps contrast the size and create an overall peaceful, serene and restful environment, often created by nature, but portrayed through his photography.

As a proffesional photographer, Perry his expertise to teach other in the Arts, including photography and has been doing so for the past 40 years. Doing commercial and landscape photograhphy in mainly Northern England has allowed Perry to
In his photography, one technique that Perry uses that ultimately makes his images stand out is the blurring motion he uses on things that aren't usually motionless such as the waves. This gives the image a more smooth effect. Also Perry makes sure that it's not just the waves in his shot, added things such as castle landmarks, old bridges and rocks laying by the water are included to create contrast.

For this Photoshoot, here were mainly my top outcomes of the beach at evening time. What made these pictures the best is due to composition, some of which for example were taken from vantage point where as some focused on beach chairs laying around empty, creating sense of peace. Imitating Burns's style, I tried to portray just how the much staring into the huge wide ocean can bring about a serene yet a sense of freedom too with - how staring into infinity can make problems and us feel very small in comparison to it.

I chose this selection of pieces because of how they set the mood and the variety in both portrait and landscape shots. In most of these pictures the place is quite derelict which allows the nature to speak for itself and create an impact through its ethereal beauty. The overall whiteness from the snow overall creates the sense of purity and promotes a relaxed and calm environment- this is what I set out to portray- the feelings that's are so unlike the city life that we get wrapped up in. This will get the audience wondering upon natures beauty.
In this collection I've chosen pieces that not only I found were best in composition such as 'Rule of Thirds' but also presented the natural beauty of the country through the beach and the scenario of the cities skyline. Moreover we see a colourful range from sunset to the deep blue hue from the ocean reflected from the sky that crashes upon grey rocks. All in all this creates a powerful effect towards the audience.

In my opinion, I found this to be one of the most successful shoots in this unit. One reason being the whole mysterious, eerie, yet calming atmosphere this derelict town provides the viewer with. We also get to see the stunning view of how this town holds the clouds in the evening time due to its position of high sea level. This is a view that is not often seen- capturing something rare, yet stunning.

Something that I found fits my theme perfectly in this shoot is how the silhouette of the clouds and mountains worked together in order to provide a breathtaking view. In one of the photos as well in the corner I managed to capture how the moon also overlooks the scene and therefore pulling the picture together. Although the lighting in this shoot is quite dark, I find that the most important are what shows and that's what counts towards the final vision of this unit.
One reason I picked this picture as I really liked how the green colours were all vividly portrayed, really enhancing the natural feel to this photography. Moreover the way that that the camera is positioned we are able to make out the mountain as the center of attention and its ultimately the main vanishing point. This is what makes this photo powerful.
In this photo we see the mountain almost creating a natural V shape which adds an effect. Also on important feature to note about this photograph is how the trees and tiny house in the middle plays an important role in helping us as the viewer from a screen put things into perspective and realize how big the mountain is.
